Shesheena Bray
Mother, therapist, organizer, space holder.
Shesheena A. Bray came to Philadelphia to attend Temple University in 2003, where she completed her undergraduate studies in African American Studies and Political Science. In 2014, Shesheena realized her service to Black and Brown communities was best actualized through her passion: mental and emotional wellness. Honing her focus and training, she earned her M.S.Ed in mental health counseling from The University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Upon completion, Shesheena started Going Inward Wellness, LLC. This mental health practice invites people of the global majority to journey inward and reclaim wellness through the use of “old technology.” Shesheena sees clients for one-on-one therapy; leads psychoeducational groups; offers professional wellness development to businesses; hosts community wellness events; leads meditations, and teaches yoga, and mindfulness.
In addition to her work with Going Inward Wellness, Shesheena currently serves as the lead clinician at the Life after Trauma Organization (LATO) and the Program Director at me too. International.
